Greetings blog world.  My name is Kara and I am so grateful that you have taken a minute to stop by this blog. I am brand new to the blogging world and am loving every second of learning my way around! Wondering a little bit about me? In a nutshell, I am the proud wife of my high school sweetheart and best friend, and the new mommy to the light of our lives, little A. I am currently taking a little breather from my previous role as an attorney to be at home with my son.  I started Where Happy Begins as a way to remember this special time I am spending with little A and to share my journey discovering (and re-discovering) things that make me happy — from tackling new decorating projects in our home, to experimenting with new recipes and getting crafty with some fun DIY projects. So for the time being, I’m saying good-bye to my high heels and briefcase and hello to flip-flops and diaper bags.
